QUALITY AT A FAIR PRICE
As a husband-and-wife business, we started growing beef calves to feed our own family in 2011. We knew that two calves grew and developed better than feeding one by itself. We sold an extra steer to a neighbor for their family so they could have clean, healthy meat. The next year, those neighbors referred us to others, so we raised three calves. From there, we have grown into a 40-head per year business. Our number one priority, when we raised and sold that first steer, was to ensure quality beef for a fair price. Our number one priority today has not changed; we still provide quality beef at a fair price. We still sell to our neighbors, but our neighborhood has gotten bigger.
LOCAL IS BETTER
We sell hand-picked, angus and angus-cross animals that are purchased from local cattlemen and women to insure quality and good genetics. The animals are kept in grass pastures and are fed twice a day, everyday. We feed a custom blend feed to help the animals gain in a way that guarantees good growth and exceptional marbling with an outstanding flavoring. If you have never eaten properly grain-fed beef you are in for something special.
CUSTOM CUTS
We work with four butchers who will custom cut your beef and package it how you choose. If you purchase a quarter, half, or whole, you can pay the butcher directly and pay us for the hanging weight on the calf. Or if you prefer, you can pay us the entire cost and we will take care of the processing cost.
BOX BEEF OPTIONS
We also sell box beef for folks who don’t have a large freezer. That way, they can still enjoy fresh, quality beef and not have to purchase a large amount at one time. It also gives families the option to purchase select cuts.
WHAT YOU GET
We charge $7.50 per pound on meat you put in your freezer. This means you don’t pay for the bone and fat that is disposed. YOU PAY FOR ONLY WHAT YOU GET!! This price applies to halves and wholes. If you need a quarter, we charge $7.75 pound.
CHARGES
We deliver the animals to the processor for butchering at no charge. If you need to have us to pick up your finished meat and deliver it to you, there is an additional charge.
